MPA Recruitment is currently supporting the Northern Ireland Housing Executive in the recruitment of a Band 3 Administration Officer to work alongside our recruitment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive secretarial support to professional staff and assisting with the efficient day-to-day running of the office, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service.
Working Hours and Pay:
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Rate: £13.69 per hour
- Payment: Weekly
- Additional: Holiday entitlement included
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Type reports, memos, letters, forms, and other documents to a high standard using word processing software or digital dictation.
- Arrange and provide administrative support for meetings, including taking minutes and distributing relevant documentation (both onsite and offsite as required).
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail; prepare and process outgoing mail.
- Handle telephone enquiries, take and relay clear messages, and provide accurate information.
- Record and share information from the on-call team, ensuring timely communication with relevant departments.
- Create, maintain, and update spreadsheets and databases using Microsoft Office.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications: 4 GCSEs (Grade A-C), including English Language and Mathematics.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year’s paid clerical experience in an office environment, including use of Microsoft Office applications.
- IT Proficiency: Intermediate
