MPA Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Band 2 Kitchen Assistant to work within a welcoming day centre in the heart of Ballycastle for the Northern Health and Social Care Trust (NHSCT). This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for part-time weekday hours with no evening or weekend work.

Position Details

  • Location: Ballycastle
  • Hours: 9:30am – 2:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • Contract: Temporary (long term)
  • Pay: Band 2 NHS rates of pay

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and serving of meals.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Wash dishes and kitchen equipment.
  • Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
  • Support the catering team to ensure a smooth daily service.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or food service environment is desirable but not essential.
