MPA Recruitment are working in partnership with the local Health and Social Care Trust to recruit a Band 2 Recruitment Support Officer based in Armagh. This is an excellent opportunity to join the HSC Recruitment Shared Service Centre (RSSC) providing administrative and clerical support to the recruitment team.
Location: Rosewood Villa, Longstone Hospital Site
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Temporary ongoing
Job Summary: The Recruitment Support Officer will provide high-quality, efficient clerical support across several teams within the HSC Recruitment Shared Service Centre. The successful candidate will assist with a range of administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of recruitment processes. The role will involve working across the following areas:
- Reception
- Receipt & Delivery Team
- Data Transfer Team
You will be trained across these teams to ensure service continuity during staff absence and busy periods.
Key Duties:
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
- Data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Logging and receipting incoming mail and emails
- Preparing documentation for distribution to internal and external teams
- Supporting the daily operations of the Recruitment Shared Service Centre
Essential Criteria:
Applicants must have:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades A–C) including English Language or equivalent qualification OR
- At least 1 year’s experience in a clerical or administrative role
You should also demonstrate:
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to use initiative
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
- Good communication skills
