Position: Band 5 General Radiographer
Employer: Local Health & Social Care Trust (via MPA Recruitment)
Hours: 37.5 hours/week (Mon–Fri 9am–5pm initially, but flexible 7-day rota possible)
Contract: Temporary until 28 Sept 2026 (initially)
Main Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations
- Maintain high image quality and patient care standards
- Follow Ionising Radiation Regulations (NI) 2017 and IR(ME)R (NI) 2018
- Participate in quality assurance and equipment checks
- Support and supervise assistant staff and student radiographers
- Maintain radiation safety and departmental standards
- Participate in CPD, audits, and service improvement
- Work flexibly including evenings, weekends, or on-call if required
Essential Requirements
- BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or Diploma of the College of Radiographers
- HCPC registration (or eligible)
- Experience in general radiography from training/placements
- Driving licence and access to a car (with disability exception)
- Access NI check
- Radiology Encompass training
