MPA Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Band 2 Catering Assistant on behalf of a Day Centre based in Antrim. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team providing meals and refreshments within a busy day care environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments
- Maintain cleanliness within kitchen and dining areas
- Wash dishes, utensils and catering equipment
- Support stock rotation and storage of food supplies
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Provide a professional and courteous service to service users and staff
- Assist with general kitchen duties as required
Essential Criteria
- Previous catering, kitchen or food service experience
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Understanding of food hygiene procedures
- Reliable and flexible approach to work
Desirable Criteria
- Food Hygiene Certificate
- Previous experience within a healthcare or day centre setting

- Band 2 - £12.71
- Monday to Friday
- 9:30am – 14:30pm
