Job Description
As a Care Assistant, you will work under the guidance of nursing staff in a care home setting to assist patients with their daily needs, ensuring care is delivered safely, respectfully, and in a person-centred manner. This is a great opportunity for those seeking family friendly hours.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Support mobility and safe movement of patients around the facility
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and respiration
- Encourage independence by helping with daily tasks
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the wider care team
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in patient areas
- Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments
- Follow infection control procedures and safeguarding policies
- Accurately update patient records under supervision
- Support clinical tasks as trained and delegated
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months paid experience in a care setting within the last 5 years
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health & Social Care (preferred)
- A caring, empathetic, and patient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High levels of reliability and professionalism
- Right to work in the UK
- NISCC registration
