MPA Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Band 6 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists to join our healthcare team across Northern Ireland. This role offers opportunities within Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy services, supporting patients with a wide range of conditions in outpatient and clinical settings. As a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist, you will provide specialist assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients presenting with musculoskeletal conditions. You will manage your own caseload, provide clinical expertise, and support the wider physiotherapy team to deliver high quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage an independent clinical caseload within Musculoskeletal services
- Carry out specialist assessments and develop personalised treatment plans
- Deliver evidence based physiotherapy interventions and rehabilitation programmes
- Provide education, advice, and support to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Support junior staff, students, and rehabilitation assistants through supervision and teaching
- Maintain accurate and up to date patient records in line with professional standards
- Participate in audit, quality improvement, and service development activities
- Contribute to clinical governance, risk management, and service improvement initiatives
- Participate in on call and out of hours services where required
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- HCPC registration
- Minimum 3 years post registration experience
- Minimum 12 months experience working within Musculoskeletal Outpatients
- Evidence of post qualification MSK training and continuing professional development
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport or suitable alternative arrangements
- Previous NHS experience
- Experience supervising junior staff or students
- Experience participating in audit or quality improvement projects
- Knowledge of current physiotherapy management for musculoskeletal conditions
