MPA are excited to be working alongside our large public sector client to recruit for multiple administrators with varying experience in Belfast and surrounding areas. Our client provides a wide range of services and employs Admin's in a wide variety of settings, to carry out a wide range of administrative tasks including the use of word processing, data input, shorthand and other computer packages.
Location: Belfast & surrounding areas
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (Full time and Part time hours available)
Salary: £12.71 - £14.08 per hour
What the role entails:
- Word processing / audio working letters / producing reports
- Sorting and responding to mail as appropriate
- Dealing with general enquiries
- Maintaining diaries
- Minute taking
- Arranging meetings
- Sorting and processing information
- Preparation of statistical information
- Dealing with requests for information
- Filing
- Making appointments
- Dealing with telephone calls
- Photocopying
Essential Criteria:
- Four GCSEs (Grade C or above) including English, or equivalent and one year's Admin experience OR two years' Admin experience OR a minimum of 12 months word-processing experience
- Knowledge and experience of specific, relevant administrative systems & procedures as well as awareness of the needs of the users of administrative services
- The ability to apply this to a range of activities that are subject to changes in both nature and demand
- This will involve solving work related problems and handling first line queries
Desirable Criteria:
- OCR / RSA / GCSE Stage 2 Word-processing / Typing (Parts 1 and 2) or equivalent qualification
