The Main Purpose of the Role
- Tack and weld steel structures ready for painting and final assembly in line with engineering drawings.
- Deliver work to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain full compliance with Health & Safety policies at all times.
About the Role
- Perform welding operations on pre-tacked steel assemblies.
- Pre-assemble a variety of steel components to ensure accuracy and correct fit during final assembly.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Ensure all work meets required quality standards.
What You Will Need
- Required Criteria
- Previous welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Desired Criteria
- NVQ Level 2 qualification or above.
- Ability to read, understand, and work from engineering drawings.
- Coded Welding Qualification.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Experience operating a gantry crane.
