Due to continued growth, they are seeking skilled Fabricators to join their high-performing production team. The Role
As a Fabricator, you will play a key part in the creation of high-quality steel structures used in the assembly of heavy crushing equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Tack steel assemblies to create structures ready for full welding
- Perform welding operations on pre-tacked steel assemblies
- Pre-assemble multiple steel components to confirm accuracy and correct fit for final assembly
- Operate a fork truck safely and efficiently to support production activities
- Adhere to all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe working practices
- Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards
What You Will Need
Required Criteria
- Minimum 3 years experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
- Ability to read, understand and work from engineering drawings
Desired Criteria
- NVQ Level 2 qualification or above
- Coded Welding Qualification
- Experience operating a forklift
- Experience operating a gantry crane
