Previous assembly fitting experience is preferred; however, candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude, practical skills, and experience working with tools or machinery will also be considered. Whether you've worked in agriculture, construction, vehicle mechanics, engineering, warehousing, manufacturing, or another hands-on role, your skills could be a perfect fit.

Working Hours

39-hour week

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 3:45pm
  • Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm

The Role

As an Assembly Fitter, you'll play a key role in building high-quality machinery and equipment used across a range of industries. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assembling mechanical components and equipment
  • Reading and following engineering drawings and assembly instructions
  • Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Fitting, aligning, and securing parts to specification
  • Carrying out quality checks and inspections
  • Identifying and resolving assembly issues
  • Working closely with colleagues to achieve production targets
