We are seeking an experienced and results-focused Regional Business Development Manager to lead the performance, growth and development of three designated branches in Belfast, Ballymena and Coleraine. This is a key management role responsible for driving business growth, maximising existing client relationships and ensuring branches consistently deliver against agreed targets. The successful candidate will combine strong business development capability with effective performance management and operational oversight to deliver sustainable results across their region. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will contribute to the wider direction, performance and future growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Growth
- Drive business development activity across designated regions.
- Identify, secure and develop new client opportunities.
- Grow and maximise existing client relationships and contracts.
- Convert opportunities into measurable business outcomes.
- Maintain strong market visibility through client engagement and networking.
- Ensure all business development activity is effectively managed and recorded through company systems.
- Contract & Client Management
- Take ownership of key client contracts within the region.
- Lead client review meetings and maintain senior-level relationships.
- Monitor and improve contract performance, service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Ensure service level agreements and key performance indicators are consistently achieved.
- Identify opportunities for contract growth, increased usage and service expansion.
- Branch Performance
- Hold accountability for branch performance and target delivery.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with Branch Managers.
- Monitor KPIs, pipeline activity and operational performance.
- Implement corrective actions where performance falls below expectations.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, support and challenge Branch Managers to achieve results.
- Develop management capability across the region.
- Set clear expectations and performance standards.
- Address underperformance and support continuous improvement.
- Operational Oversight
- Ensure branches operate in line with company policies, procedures and compliance standards.
- Work closely with internal departments to support service delivery and business performance.
- Maintain oversight of operational effectiveness and client service standards.
- Senior Management Team Contribution
- Contribute to business strategy, planning and decision-making.
- Provide insight on regional performance, opportunities and risks.
- Support company-wide initiatives and business improvement projects.
- Act as a senior representative of MPA Recruitment internally and externally.
About You
You will be an experienced recruitment professional with a proven track record of delivering business growth, developing client relationships and managing performance within a recruitment environment.
Essential Requirements
- Experience within the recruitment industry in a regional, branch management or senior recruitment role.
- Demonstrable success in business development and client relationship management.
- Experience operating within a target-driven environment.
- Experience managing client accounts and service delivery.
- Experience managing or supporting teams within a recruitment setting.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
- Results-focused with a strong sense of accountability.
- Proactive, solution-focused and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel across designated regions.

- Experience overseeing multiple teams, branches or service areas.
