MPA Recruitment is currently hiring Band 3 Support Workers to join our team in a Day Centre Setting supporting adults with additional needs. This is an ongoing opportunity with immediate start available — ideal for candidates seeking a stable role with family-friendly working hours. About the Role

You will work alongside experienced staff in a structured day centre environment, providing person-centred care and support to adults with a range of additional needs. The role focuses on enabling individuals to live as independently and comfortably as possible. This is a Mon-Fri position 9am-3.30pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality personal care and support to service users
  • Support individuals during meal times, ensuring nutritional needs are met
  • Encourage and promote independence and self-care skills
  • Assist with mobility and physical support when required
  • Carry out general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Engage with service users through effective and respectful communication
  • Contribute to a positive, welcoming, and inclusive day centre environment

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a similar support or care role
  • NISCC registration (or willingness to apply)
  • Willingness to complete training courses relevant to the role
  • Ability to undergo and pass an enhanced Access NI check

Desirable Criteria

  • Health and Social Care qualification (e.g., Level 2 or higher)
