Early Years Assistant – Woking Day Nursery
Salary:£27,580.80per annum (dependent on qualificationand experience) – Location: Woking.

Role Summary
As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of5.
You will create interactive play experiences, facilitate activities and reading, and support each child’s development toward key milestones.
Responsibilities
- Look after babies and young children, ensuring their safety and well‑being.
- Plan and facilitate interactive play, activities, and reading sessions.
- Encourage children’s curiosity and support their learning journey.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support each child’s development.
Qualifications & Desired Skills
- Previous experience working with children (ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar).
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging.
- Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents.
- Strong communication skills with both children and adults.
