Location: Warrington

Salary: £26,662.20 per annum

Shift options: 40 hours over 5 days

Role:

You will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. Your duties will include:

  • Providing interactive play, activities, and reading to encourage curious minds and create learning opportunities
  • Supporting the children’s learning and development with new ideas and initiatives
  • Attending all required training and coursework for completion of your formal qualification under the supervision of an assessor
  • Reflecting and proactively using feedback to enhance development and learning

Qualifications:

  • English qualification GCSE Grade C / Level 4 or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 (or willingness to complete alongside your apprenticeship)
  • Previous experience working with children beneficial but not essential (e.g., Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar)
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
