Location & Salary

Nursery – 24 St Swithin Street, Aberdeen

Salary – £14.24 PH (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Role Overview

As part of the Bright Flex / Bank team, you will support colleagues in delivering the Scottish Curriculum, engaging children in educational and entertaining activities, and ensuring essential day‑to‑day tasks such as room tidying and preparation are completed.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the Scottish Curriculum through engaging children.
  • Plan and lead entertaining and educational activities that promote learning and development.
  • Assist with room tidying, preparation, and daily routines.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to maintain a safe and stimulating environment.

Qualifications

  • Full and relevant Level3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children (Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder, or similar).
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing needs.
