Salary: Starting from £31,158.40 per annum (dependent on qualification(s)/experience)

Hours: Full time – 40 hours, Monday – Friday

Location: Upminster, RM14 2HX

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each of your key children to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and foster a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design and deliver play-based learning activities for children.
  • Implement safe, hygienic and supportive environments for each child.
  • Observe and assess children's progress and adapt learning opportunities accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance and health records.
  • Communicate with parents/carers and foster positive working partnerships.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/carers.
