Role Summary Early Years Practitioner at Bright Horizons Chigwell Day Nursery and Preschool, Roding Lane, Buckhurst Hill, Chigwell, Essex.
Salary: Starting £29,000 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience). Full‑time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Shift options: 40 hours over 4 or 5 days.
Responsibilities
- Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child to encourage development towards key milestones.
- Create a safe environment that allows children freedom of expression, mindset stimulation and a lifelong love of learning.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification.
- Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
- Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.
- Subject to safer recruitment practice and pre‑employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check.
