We're proud to support over 10,000 children across the UK, with 98% of our nurseries rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted.Key AccountabilitiesManage safeguarding notifications and regulatory submissions.Maintain accurate records, documentation, and audit trails.Coordinate safeguarding cases, actions, and compliance activities.Monitor deadlines and ensure timely follow-up of actions.Support and advise operational teams on safeguarding processes.Coordinate Ready to Respond meetings and Safeguarding Advice Line activity.Track safeguarding risks, trends, and regulatory requirements.Ensure compliance with safeguarding and reporting obligations.Essential / Desirable ExperienceExperience in within a regulated environmentExperience with auditing for a large organisation (Childcare, schools, healthcare)Experience with compliance and safeguardingStrong organisation, documentation, and record-keeping skillsKnowledge of governance, audit, and regulatory processesAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent attention to detail and accuracyDesirable ExperienceExperience with safeguarding, Ofsted notifications, or LADO referralsBackground in early years, education, healthcare, or another regulated sectorKnowledge of case management or HR systems (e.g. Workday)Experience supporting audits, inspections, or compliance reviewsQualificationsFull and relevant Level 3 qualification is desirableBright Horizons is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
