Nursery – Bright Horizons Leeds
Salary: £28,072.60 per annum (full time equivalent; dependent on qualification and experience).
Location: Leeds.
We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our Leeds nursery, an OFSTED rated Outstanding setting located close to the city centre and Leeds train station.
Role Overview
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child, encouraging their development toward key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and foster a lifelong love of learning.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and reflect on learning activities for young children.
- Create a safe, stimulating environment that supports children's exploration and learning.
- Support children’s developmental, social, and emotional needs.
Qualifications
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
- Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Ability to build trust and partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.
- Subject to safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check, before appointment.
Shift Options
20 hours per week, 4 hours over 5 days.
