Role Overview

We are seeking a flexible working practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at Bright Horizons Kingston Day Nursery and Preschool.

In this role, you will blend the convenience of bank/agency work with the security and benefits of being an employee, supporting our team in delivering the EYFS and ensuring day‑to‑day tasks such as room tidying and preparation are completed.

Responsibilities

  • Support colleagues with the delivery of the EYFS and engage children in entertaining and educational activities.
  • Encourage children’s development towards key milestones.
  • Assist with essential day‑to‑day tasks including room tidying and preparation.

Qualifications

  • Full and relevant Level3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children (e. g., Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar).
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
