Nursery – Bright Horizons Hedge End Day Nursery and Pre School
Salary – £26,662.20 to £27,086.20 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)
Location – Hedge End, Hampshire

Shift options
- 40 hours over 4 or 5 days
- 24 hours over 3 days
- 16 hours over 2 days
Role
As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
