Nursery: Bright Horizons Rose Cottage Day Nursery and Preschool – Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex.
Hourly Rate: Starting from £13.50 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience.
We are looking for a flexible working practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team. The role involves supporting colleagues with EYFS delivery, engaging children in educational activities, helping children reach developmental milestones, and completing essential day-to-day tasks such as room tidying and preparation.
- Responsibilities
- Support delivery of the EYFS curriculum through engaging educational activities.
- Encourage children toward key developmental milestones.
- Assist with daily tasks such as room tidying and preparation.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operation of the nursery.
- Communicate with children and adults using a range of techniques.
- Qualifications
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working with children (e.g., Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder).
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

Schedule & Working Hours
Shift options: 40 hours over 4 or 5 days, 24 hours over 3 days, or 16 hours over 2 days.
