Salary – £29,619 FTE per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

We're looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our Annandale Street nursery. Bright Horizons Annandale Street Nursery offers a purpose-built setting with spacious rooms, a sensory space, and a well-equipped garden designed to inspire young minds. Our multicultural and bilingual team is dedicated to delivering exceptional care through the Bright Beginnings curriculum. Located just off Leith Walk, the nursery benefits from excellent commuter links including nearby tram, train, and bus routes, plus on-site car parking.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we're looking for

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
  • Strong understanding of the Scottish Curriculum frameworks
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
