The Role
We’re looking for an Early Years Housekeeper to join our Eddington nursery.
The role involves keeping the nursery clean and safe for children, colleagues, and families, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas, carrying out daily laundry as required, and assisting with additional nursery tasks as needed (e. g., supporting over mealtimes and cleaning of equipment).
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in the nursery.
- Keep children’s bathroom and nappy change areas clean throughout the day.
- Carry out daily laundry as required.
- Assist with additional nursery tasks when required, including mealtime support and equipment cleaning.
- What We’re Looking For (Qualifications and Experience)
- Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property.
- Food Safety – CIEH Level 2 or above (or equivalent) – this must be passed on day 1 in post.
- Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements.
- Great communication skills with colleagues, children, and parents.
