About the Role
Join Bright Horizons in Cambridge and fast‑track your career in Early Years. This role offers the chance to work in our nurseries while completing a fully funded, accelerated Early Years qualification. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in a supportive environment, earn while you learn, and develop the skills needed to make a real difference in children’s lives.
Responsibilities
- Assist in caring for babies and children up to the age of 5 as part of a team.
- Plan and facilitate interactive play, activities, reading and support children’s curiosity.
- Support colleagues and contribute to the development of each child’s key milestones.
- Provide a safe, loving and stimulating environment for all children.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children – ideal but not essential (e.g., Nursery Bank Staff, Teaching Assistant, Childminder, etc.).
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents.
- Effective communication skills with children and adults.
- Commitment to safeguarding and supporting children’s welfare.
