Nursery – Bright Horizons Cambridge Milton Road Day Nursery & Pre‑School

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £29,432 per annum

We offer a fully funded, accelerated Early Years qualification and the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a supportive environment, earning while you learn and developing the skills needed to make a real difference in children’s lives.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to 5 years old.
  • Plan and facilitate interactive play, activities, reading and encouraging children’s curiosity to support their development toward key milestones.
  • Assist colleagues in implementing early years curriculum and support child care routines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience working with children is ideal but not essential.
  • Backgrounds such as Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar are welcomed.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to build trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents.
  • Effective communication skills with children and adults.
