Nursery –Bright Horizons WoodLand Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary– Starting from £26,416 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our Bright Horizons WoodLand nursery and support over the lunch time period.

The nursery is proudly Ofsted rated ‘Good’ and is situated in Gaydon, Warwickshire, just off the M40 on the Jaguar Land Rover site. It consists of age based rooms supporting children from 3 months to 5 years old and has cosy reading corners, imagination play areas and sensory corners for all to enjoy. The nursery also includes a bright outdoor space for the children to play in.

The Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.

What we’re looking for

Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar

Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child

Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents

Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
