Nursery – Bright Horizons Cambridge Science Park Day Nursery and Preschool
Salary – £29,432.00 per annum FTE

We’re looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our Cambridge Science Park Nursery, situated on the outskirts of Cambridge City Centre, offering excellent transport links with its proximity to Cambridge North train station and the guided busway. We provide free on-site parking for staff who drive and a cycle park for bicycles.
Our nursery accommodates up to 148 children daily across four age-specific rooms, each with its own outdoor space. Additionally, there is a communal garden for all children to explore and enjoy.

The Role
As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
