Bright Horizons is a workplace guided by our HEART principles: Honesty, Excellence, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork. This role is with our Bright Flex / Bank team at the Bury St Edmunds Nursery, rated Good by Ofsted, located in a quiet residential area with easy access to the A14 and M33 bus links. The nursery features bright spaces and a large, multi-surfaced garden with on-site parking.
Responsibilities
- Support colleagues with the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Encourage development towards key milestones.
- Work as part of a team to complete day-to-day tasks such as room tidying and activity/room preparation.
What we’re looking for
- Full and relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working with children (e.g., Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar).
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults.
- Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
