This role is with our Bright Flex / Bank team at the Bury St Edmunds Nursery, rated Good by Ofsted, located in a quiet residential area with easy access to the A14 and M33 bus links. The nursery features bright spaces and a large, multi-surfaced garden with on-site parking.

Responsibilities

  • Support colleagues with the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
  • Encourage development towards key milestones.
  • Work as part of a team to complete day-to-day tasks such as room tidying and activity/room preparation.

What we’re looking for

  • Full and relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children (e.g., Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar).
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults.
  • Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
