Position: Nursery – Bright Horizons Grove Lodge Day Nursery and Preschool (Location: Burgess Hill)
Salary: £30,155 per annum starting point, dependent on qualification(s) and experience.

Role Overview: As an Early Years Teacher, you will plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all the children to develop and meet their individual needs. You will make accurate and effective assessments, ensuring indoor and outdoor environments are consistently stimulating and inspiring for the children.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver and evaluate learning activities across all EYFS domains.
- Make accurate assessments of children’s development, reflecting needs, interests and stages.
- Develop and maintain stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments.
- Communicate effectively with children, families and colleagues.
- Support partnerships with parents/carers and maintain regular communication.
- Safeguard children and promote child protection and welfare.
Qualifications:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS) or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification.
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
Skills & Working Relationships:
- Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both colleagues and parents.
- Commitment to continuous professional learning and development.
