We’re looking for an Early Years Lunchtime Assistant to join our Bright Horizons Tudor House Day Nursery and Preschool – 20 hours a week – Monday to Friday.

The Role
As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5.
You will create adventures with our children through interactive play, activities and reading, encouraging their curious minds and supporting each child’s development towards their key milestones.

Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children aged up to five years.
- Plan and facilitate play‑based learning activities that support development milestones.
- Assist with child feeding, changing and personal care as required.
- Maintain accurate records of child progress and daily routines.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues.
- Support the implementation of early years curriculum and daily teaching plan.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, hygiene and child protection policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience working with children is ideal but not essential (e. g., Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder).
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- Capacity to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents.
- Strong communication skills with both children and adults.
