Salary – £11,997.99 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience).
Hours – 3 Days Per Week (Tues, Weds & Fri) 11:00am-5:00pm.
Location – Bower Ashton, Bristol.
Responsibilities
- Support the Chef in the preparation and cooking of age‑appropriate food for all children in the nursery.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety at all times.
- Take responsibility for running the kitchen in the Chef’s absence.
- Ensure all dietary requirements are catered for and clearly communicated to teams.
- Prepare and present meals to children in a safe, hygienic and delicious manner.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience within a cooking role, domestic or commercial.
- Passion for nutrition and inspiring healthy eating.
- Sound knowledge of managing dietary requirements, especially food allergies.
- Food Safety: CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent) – must be passed on day 1 of employment.
- Knowledge of COSHH.
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues, children and parents.
- Ability to work under pressure.
