Overview
Join our 74-place nursery, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, as a Room Leader to lead, mentor, support and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education. You will help all children within the room achieve their individual milestones, promote health and safety, safeguarding, and build strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and other professionals.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and support a team in delivering high-quality early years care and education.
- Ensure child welfare, health and safety, and safeguarding procedures are followed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents/carers, colleagues and external professionals.
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate learning activities that meet EYFS milestones.
Qualifications
- Relevant Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience in an early years setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Educator).
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and legislative requirements for working with children.
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents and adults.
