Overview
Position: Nursery Practitioner (Bright Flex / Bank) at Bright Horizons Banstead Day Nursery and Preschool, Banstead, Surrey.
This role blends bank/agency flexibility with the security and benefits of being a Bright Horizons employee.
Responsibilities
- Support delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities.
- Encourage children’s development towards key milestones.
- Work as part of a team to complete essential day-to-day tasks, such as room tidying and preparation.
Qualifications
- Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working with children (e. g., Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar).
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults.
- Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required (enhanced) prior to appointment.
