M&P Survey is currently looking for a Regional Van Driver to come and join our team based at our main office in Ellesmere Port. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary from £26,000 per annum.

About the Regional Van Driver role:

The role is for a Pro Active delivery driver to support our rapidly growing hire, sales and service business. The primary focus is around the regional delivery and collection of our core product offerings; however, it is our intention that the right candidate has the personality and skills to include basic sales and lead generation and offer a supporting role to our sales team which could offer a path for career development in the future.

Key responsibilities as our Regional Van Driver will include:

  • Carrying out planned day / route in an efficient and timely manner in line with the requirements of the business.
  • Ensuring that all equipment for the day is present, correct and loaded into the vehicle in a safe manner and in line with the company’s manual handling policies.
  • Ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy by carrying out daily checks on its equipment and fittings.
  • Ensuring the vehicle is maintained correctly and is in a clean, presentable condition at all times.
  • To be polite and smartly presented at all times as a representation of M&P Survey.
  • Maintaining staff uniform and PPE to be compliant with both H&S and company policies.
  • Ensuring driving is within the rules and regulations as set out in the Highway Code and company policies.

What we’re looking for in our Regional Van Driver:

  • To acquire basic knowledge concerning the company’s range of products and services.
  • No driving disqualifications within the last 5 years.
  • No more than 3 points currently on your driving license.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • The ability and confidence to use initiative and common sense.
  • Team oriented – ability to work well with diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the unexpected.
  • Basic geographical knowledge of the Northwest.
