Make a real impact in a brand-new SEMH provision. An exciting opportunity has opened at a new specialist provision supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and complex communication difficulties. Our pupils may present with needs such as ASC, ADHD, PDA, FASD, attachment difficulties, developmental trauma, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties. Many have experienced challenges in previous school settings, and our mission is to help them succeed through a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach to education.
The therapy team plays a central role within the school, working closely with staff to embed communication strategies and therapeutic practice across the whole school.

You will lead and coordinate the Speech and Language Therapy provision, including:
- Delivering individual and group therapy in line with EHCP outcomes
- Writing and reviewing therapy targets and reports
- Contributing to EHCP reviews and annual reviews
- Supporting staff through training and communication strategies
- Delivering workshops for parents and carers
- Managing a complex caseload independently
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registered
- Member of RCSLT
- At least 2 years experience in paediatric SALT, ideally within a school setting
- Experience supporting children with SEMH, ASD, or complex needs
