Reporting to: Lead Engineer

Hours of Work: 39 hours per week

Overview

Join our team at Terex Omagh and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated NPI Fitter to contribute to our Test & Development team.

Responsibilities

  • Machine setup
  • Completion of test plan items
  • Initial mechanical and hydraulic testing
  • Machine clean down in prep for re‑work
  • Machine strip/re‑work/re‑build including mechanical, electric and hydraulic components
  • Work with Test and Development Engineers and Design Engineers to develop and refine prototype machines
  • Report and highlight issues found while completing re‑work or design improvements
  • Replace/repair any worn or damaged parts including wear liners to keep machines in good working order for testing or for sale at end of testing
  • Ensure compliance with all general site rules, regulations, policies & procedures
  • Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations

Qualifications

  • Experience fitting hydraulics
  • Experience in mechanical fitting
  • Experience working in a similar environment (desirable)
