Job Title: Forklift Truck Operator
Location: Omagh
Hours: 39 Hour Week (Monday‑Thursday 7:00am – 3:45pm, Friday 7:00am – 1:00pm)
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to ensure a continuous supply of material into the machine shop area
- Ensure materials are loaded correctly and transported safely
- Efficiently stack and store products in the appropriate areas
- Maintain relevant paperwork and keep it up to date
- Carry out regular checks and maintenance of the forklift
- Work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement initiatives
- Complete daily safety checks to ensure the work area is tidy and free from hazards
- Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a forklift driver, preferably in a busy manufacturing environment
- Good organisational skills with the ability to handle and work to tight deadlines
- Valid forklift truck licence (desirable)
- Hardworking, good team player with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Willingness to develop skills on an ongoing basis in line with the growing business
- Flexibility to work overtime as and when required
