The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.
Location & Hours: Omagh – 39 hour week (Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 3:45pm, Friday 7:00am – 1:00pm).
What you’ll do:
- Follow work instructions and specifications to understand how parts should fit together.
- Assemble components such as metal parts, bearings, pipes, or frames.
- Use hand and power tools (spanners, torque wrenches, drills, grinder, etc.).
- Align and adjust parts to ensure correct fit, movement, and tolerances.
- Install fasteners like bolts, screws, rivets, and pins.
- Check the quality and accuracy of your work.
- Test assembled units to ensure they function correctly.
- Identify and fix faults or assembly issues.
Essential Skills & Qualities:
- Ability to read and interpret instructions.
- Good hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- “Can do” attitude.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience fitting hydraulics.
- Experience in mechanical fitting.
- Experience in a similar production environment or transferable skills from agriculture, construction, warehouse, manufacturing, or car mechanics.
