As a Forklift Operator at Terex, based in Omagh, you'll play a pivotal role in producing equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.
What you’ll do:
- Operate a Forklift to ensure a continuous supply of material into the Machine Shop area
- Ensure that materials are loaded correctly and transported safely
- Efficiently stack and store products in the appropriate areas
- Ensure that all relevant paperwork as appropriate is maintained and kept up to date
- Carry out regular checks and maintenance of the Forklift
- Work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
- Complete daily safety checks to ensure work area is tidy and free from hazards
- Maintain compliance to all Health and Safety Regulations
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience as a forklift driver, preferably in a busy manufacturing environment.
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to handle and work to tight deadlines
- Desirable: Valid forklift truck license
The successful candidate should be hard working, a good team player with excellent communication skills and good attention to detail. You should be willing to develop your skills on an ongoing basis in line with the growing business. We also require the flexibility to work overtime as and when required.
