Plumbing and Heating Trade Counter Assistant
Location: Tottenham, N15 3QR
Salary: £30,800
Hours: 48.5 hours per week, shifts between 6:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday, and alternate Saturdays from 7:00am – 4:00pm
We have an exciting opportunity for a Plumbing and Heating Trade Counter Assistant to join our Tottenham branch, where we supply a wide range of plumbing and building materials.
As a Trade Counter Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our customers — offering expert advice, handling transactions, and helping to ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the trade counter.

Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with plumbing product inquiries and provide expert advice.
- Process orders accurately, handle invoicing, and manage payments efficiently.
- Replenish stock on the shop floor and participate in regular stock counts.
- Assist with deliveries to and from the store.
- Handle telephone inquiries effectively, maintaining clear communication with customers and colleagues.
- Respond positively and promptly to customer needs.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of plumbing materials.
- Good interpersonal skills, confident and able to approach customers.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team.
- The ability to prioritise responsibilities under pressure and be self-motivated.
