You will be joining a small, supportive team that prides itself on flexibility and responsiveness to customer needs. While standard warehouse duties form a core part of the role, the ability to adapt and assist with basic technical tasks is highly desirable. A clean driving licence is essential, and a forklift licence would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Checking and booking in stock accurately
- Warehouse replenishment
- Picking, packing, and booking stock out
- Conducting regular stock takes
- Supporting Health & Safety compliance and risk assessments where required
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and filed or archived correctly
- Assisting other departments with warehouse-related queries and requests
- Liaising with couriers to ensure items are tracked, shipped, or collected promptly when required
- Working effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Handling manual lifting, including some heavy goods
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential
- Strong knowledge and understanding of warehouse procedures
- Forklift truck experience is advantageous
- Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional longer hours as required
- Willingness to travel when necessary
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety requirements
