My client is seeking an experienced Senior Digital Content Developer to join their Oxfordshire team on a hands-on role in shaping engaging, accessible digital learning. You will play a key role in shaping engaging digital learning experiences that inspire, inform, and transform learners across multiple platforms. You will produce polished content, support colleagues, and help ensure projects are delivered to high standards. You will be primarily focused on content development but will also contribute ideas for process improvement, client solutions, and team development. The role offers autonomy, variety, and exposure to high-profile clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of digital learning experiences for desktop, mobile, and tablet platforms that captivate and engage learners.
- Transform storyboards and technical content into high-quality eLearning modules, interactive content, and multimedia assets.
- Champion user experience (UX) excellence across all digital learning content.
- Contribute to quality assurance (QA), including peer review, functional testing, and content validation.
- Maintain and enhance the company’s Learning Management System and support other eLearning platforms.
- Provide creative input for marketing campaigns, proposals, and client presentations.
- Produce compelling visuals, graphics, and multimedia using Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360, Captivate, and other tools.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including estimating timelines, prioritising tasks, and delivering content on schedule.
- Stay ahead of trends in digital learning, technology, and instructional design to continually innovate our offerings.
- Support the Digital Curriculum Lead and wider team with strategic input, process improvement, and innovation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure accessibility and inclusive design in all deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Graphic Design, Media, Digital Learning, Instructional Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience producing digital learning using Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise), Adobe Captivate, H5P, or similar authoring tools.
- Strong design and multimedia skills with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere/After Effects a plus).
- Understanding of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE) and course evaluation methodologies.
- Strong copywriting, proofreading, and technical writing skills.
- Organised, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain UK security clearance.
- Experience with LMS platforms.
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, Bootstrap, WordPress/Elementor).
- Experience working with defence, public sector, or corporate clients.
- Project management experience, e.g., Prince2 Foundation or equivalent.
