We are looking for an enthusiastic Restaurant & Bar Manager wanting to deliver first‑class restaurant experience at the world leading hospitality company Portsmouth Marriott Hotel. Located near famous landmarks such as the Spinnaker Tower, the hotel offers a range of amenities including Cast Iron Bar & Grill, our signature restaurant and fitness centre. The Portsmouth Marriott Hotel provides exceptional, personal, and friendly service whilst catering to a variety of guests. As the Restaurant & Bar Manager you will…
- Assist the Operations Manager and deputize during their absence
- Oversee the smooth and efficient running of day‑to‑day operations in the Restaurant and Bar outlets
- Manage supervisors and associates to achieve departmental targets
- Serve food and beverages to guests, making recommendations if needed
- Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests
- Record transactions in the MICROS system correctly and timely
- Check‑in with guests to assure satisfaction with each course and beverage
- Clean tables, complete closing duties and re‑stock tableware and other supplies
