Join our team at Terex as a Production Operative (Machine Shop) in Dungannon. You will report to the Production Supervisor and work 39 hours per week.

What you will do:

  • Set up and operate press brakes, plasma cutters, CNC machines and laser cutting systems, and other machinery to produce parts.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, work orders, nesting layouts and CNC programs to determine dimensions, tolerances, tooling and sequencing.
  • Perform basic program editing/adjustments at the machine.
  • Inspect fresh sheet metal for imperfections or quality issues.
  • Monitor metal quality as it is being shaped.
  • Meet set targets while working on the production line and adhere to strict quality targets.
  • Work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with all Health and Safety Regulations, identifying and reporting hazards, near misses and non-conformance.

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, preferably in screening & crushing, mobile plant, mining or heavy fabrication.
  • Proficiency operating press brakes, plasma, CNC and laser machinery (multi-process capability desirable).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Competence with CNC controls.
  • Strong measurement & inspection skills using common metrology tools.
  • Demonstrated commitment to HSE standards in a machine/fabrication shop.
  • Ability to work under pressure and be fully dependable and reliable.
  • Ability to use own initiative and work with minimal supervision.
