What you will do
You will play a pivotal role within the Machine Shop Team, working as a press brake operator helping to create equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Operating the press brake machine to bend and shape metal to specification
- Inspecting fresh sheet metal for any imperfections or quality issues
- Monitoring metal quality as it is being shaped
- Meeting set targets whilst working on the production line
- Adhering to strict quality targets
- Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
- Maintaining compliance to all Health and Safety Regulations
What you will bring
- Previous experience in the use of hand plasma, CNC machinery and stud welding
- Use of CNC plasma desirable
- Communication skills
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise and control daily workload
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Ability to work under pressure and be fully dependable and reliable
- Ability to use initiative and work with minimal supervision
