Hours: 39‑hour week - 4 nights, Monday to Thursday
Responsibilities
- Ensure all materials are accounted for; tack and weld materials together as per engineering drawings to the highest standard and quality.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, particularly welding symbols.
- Apply Lean principles and methodology.
- Work within a team environment and use own initiative.
- Comply with current and future health & safety laws, processes and procedures.

- Ability to work on own initiative with a "can do, make it happen" attitude.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work with others to meet strict deadlines and perform under pressure.

Experience & Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables and other measuring instruments.
- Relevant work experience, preferably welding in a heavy‑equipment environment.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, judgment and decision‑making.
- Diagnostic, troubleshooting and rapid problem resolution.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal guidance.
- Drive quality improvements and meet given targets.
- Knowledge of H&S procedures and responsibilities.
- Experience in Lean manufacturing preferred.
