About the Role

Night Shift Machine Operator – Cookstown

Location: Cookstown

Hours of Work: 4 day week – Monday to Wednesday 3:45pm to 2:15am and Thursday 3:45pm to 1:15am

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate plasma and laser cutting machines to cut steel to required specifications
  • Monitor cutting programs, check parts against drawings and adjust parameters as necessary
  • Inspect and measure finished products to ensure compliance with requirements
  • Achieve target output while maintaining quality standards
  • Collaborate with team on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Complete daily safety checks and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
