As a Fitter based in Coalville, you will play a pivotal role in manufacturing crushing equipment for a global organisation.
Responsibilities- Mechanical fitting of crushing equipment
- Working within a production line
- Read and understand bespoke engineering drawings
- Meet set targets whilst working on the production line
- Safe and controlled movement of production parts
- Work safely and follow Health and Safety guidelines
- Experience of fitting hydraulics
- Experience in mechanical fitting
- Experience of building crushing equipment or similar
- Experience of operating overhead cranes and jib cranes
- Experience of hand‑powered tools
- Proven engineering manufacturing skills
- Good mechanical skills
- Approach to problem solving
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills
- Working to tight tolerances, limits and fits
- Understanding of lean principles and 5S
